Emily Morgan, named after the Yellow Rose of Texas, is a classic Bowman 57 sailing yacht, well appointed and MCA coded available for charter in the Caribbean – choose from the British Virgin Islands, Antigua or the Grenadines or another island that takes your fancy. She also sails regularly across the Atlantic and places are available to gain experience and miles or just for the adventure!

You are looked after by Emily Morgan’s owners, husband and wife team Bones & Anna Black, both qualified and experienced sailors whose passions are sailing and customer service.

Your comfort on board is assured.  The spacious cockpit is perfect for sipping a cold sundowner whilst watching the sunset. It has an opening table for magical lunches and dinners under the stars. The large bimini fends off the fiercest midday sun. Sun lovers aren’t forgotten, there’s plenty of comfy cushioned deck space for soaking up the sun.  Below decks the accommodation is light and airy and the cabins are comfortable and well appointed.

Get involved with sailing the boat as much or as little as you like.  Bones & Anna will take you to wonderful locations to sail, sunbathe, swim, snorkel, fish, kayak or kneeboard. Rendezvous diving and kiteboarding also available.

Emily Morgan is easy to handle with her flexible rig.  Sail handing is managed with furling headsails, mainsail with lazyjacks, a mizzen sail aft as well as a spinnaker and mizzen staysail when speed is of the essence.

We have not posted for a while as we have been a little distracted by sailing Emily Morgan across the Atlantic for the 7th time. We had a great crossing with a lovely crew, lots of laughs and no major issues with Emily Morgan. We had great success with our new fishing reel, we landed lots of Mahi Mahi as well as a 1.8 meter sail fish (biggest fish we have ever caught), a lovely Wahoo and a Bonito.
So how could we beat the excitement of the last month? Well that's easy, we are just about to set off around the World with the World ARC.
In the meantime we are in the USVI/BVI for our annual survey before we head back down the Caribbean islands to Martinique for Christmas in St Anne.
Keep an eye on our travels at my.yb.tl/EmilyMorgan (no www in front).
